1971 Shortbox Fleetside .
68 front clip was purchased and installed at Vintage Chevy Trucks in Fremont,
CA. along with a very clean tach dash. Truck was stripped down to metal,
inside of the box was shaved, side marker lights shaved. Front bumper shaved.
Black is absolute black with no blue or brown base tints. All parts are
OEM including the instrument cluster.
Chassis
and wheel setup was done by Sport Trucks by Dean in Moorpark, CA.
Interior was completed last year. The seat is a brand new Glide
Engineering spit-back bench. 8” chopped out of it. w/ ultra suede
center panels, with double stitch Bentley square patterns. Behind the
split-back bench has ultra suede panels with 4 hidden 6” subs and Tarantula
amp. Truck has also been outfitted with 3 sets of aircraft seat belts.
Carpet is German shaved. All new bumpers and rubber seals on doors, windows,
hood, new door locks and matching ignition keys [supplied by Vintage
Chevy Trucks]. Front grill and headlight dishes have been show plated.
Truck
was shown for the first time June 3-4th this year at the Good Guys Hot Road
Association event in Pleasanton CA. in which it won the Hot Hauler award and
made it to the winners circle. The truck is outfitted with billet
specialty legacy 20” wheels and all 4 corners are setup with Air Ride
Technology bag suspension system. The truck has been notched but the bed
has been left original (no cutout). The truck has a strong running 350
small-block Chevy. Mechanically the truck is sound.
